On many occasions now when not even replying to a post from me, she makes little digs about me in reply to someone else, as seen above, as I say I find it amusing.

Anyway to the topic at hand, I ask anyone here, when we defeated Japan and Germany in WW2 did with respect their cultures and help them regrow into the powerful economic nations today? Yes we did and how did we do this?

When you defeated Japan and Germany? Are seriously going to tell me that you respected the culture of either Germany or Japan? Was that before or after the Nagaski and Hiroshima? After Dresden? Iraq was defeated, but did we show the same respect there mystic? I don't think so, I am talking after the conflict, we did not take away any of their cultures did we, in fact they were respected in Japan and Germany were they not? So again this shows how it works on rebuilding a nation even both carried out some of the most appalling attrocities. What you fail to understand is you can defeat a nations army, but then you have to wim over its people, this was done then. What is not being done is winning over the people there because there have been constant civillian killings by bombings and friendly fire even after the wars ended, this created more to flock to the taliban or terrorist groups, this is what you fail to understand, many mistakes have been done and it has cause the conflict to go on longer.

The things is not everyone is using hearts and minds there, as I say there have been too many civillian casualties, in Iraq the death toll was appalling, we need to build bridges, that is the way forward not bombing people out of existance.

I think you left out the fact that first Clinton was offered Bin Laden twice with no strings attached which he rejected. Bush was offered Bin Laden on taliban terms which he refused, no one in their right mind negotiates with an enemy on their terms.
